The Grant County Health District is sponsoring a FREE 1 day youth marijuana prevention and education conference in Moses Lake on June 22nd at Columbia Basin Technical Skills Center from 7:45am-5:00pm. Co
me learn about how legalized marijuana is changing the landscape of our communities & impacting our youth.
This conference will kick off our North Central Washington Youth Marijuana Prevention program. We have two additional dates, June 21st in Okanogan and June 23rd in Wenatchee and the content will be the same at each location
This conference is targeted towards: school district staff, counselors, prevention specialists, healthcare, law enforcement, social workers, community members and ANYONE who works with youth!
State and National presenters will be giving presentations on the changing landscape of our communities due to marijuana legalization, Washington State Marijuana Laws, Motivational Interviewing and a section on Cultural Competency and high risk populations.
FREE clock hours will be available for school district staff.
